I want to know why people would spend £300 on a xbox or £200 on a gamecube while you could buy something for your PC or persnol stuff I don't know buy something for your sister or brother.

I hate and loathe playing games on my PC, computers were built for porn, not playing games. However, no consoles have Counter Strike yet so I am forced to lumber along with a keyboard and mouse.

If you wanna spend £200/300 on something for your PC, then go ahead, you're obviously one of those people who prefer their PC's to their consoles.
And many people here, including myself, disagree with you cuz we prefer console gaming to PC's.

I have a PS2, and if I had £300 going I'd either spend it on
more PS2 games
or Cat Litter x 12 + (PS2 games - 1)
or 8MB memory card + (PS2 games - 1)
or an XBox and worry about getting Halo later.

Well actually... I already have a PS2 and I would much rather spend £300 on a GeForce 3 for this box than buy an Xbox or CameCube.
Let me try and understand this. You're trying to convince us to NOT buy a GC or X-Box and buy something for our brother or sister instead? What would you rather do, buy a £300+ (very expensive) PC part, or buy a console? I expect a unanamous decision. Nice to see a charitable user on the forums, but its unfortunate that there are hardly any in society any more.
Why don't you buy yourself a boomslang snake? They make great pets, while you last.
