Ok guys, here's the beef.

I bought a plug 'n' play USB pad for my PC. Its installed and seems to be running ok on the test screen and all that jazz.

However, when I boot up my SNES emulator and get set for a good ol'd battle on Mario Kart or Secret of Mana, the stupid pad won't work.

Fix it you wizards. I'm too lame to understand technology. I want to play crappy SNES games with a pad!

Please help me, I'll give you a shiny penny!

It doesn't matter anymore, I took the pad back, got a full refund, I hate PCs and if I can just manage to justify spending £35 pounds on it - there's a copy of Secret of Mana on the SNES at a local shop. Afterall thats the only reason for the Pad and Emulator.

Hm, Fiddle around with options of settings, and tell the emu to use the joypad.

If you can't see any options press alt, then use keys to fiddle. If that doesn't work get a different emulator.

I'm pretty sure it does allow controllers to be used. How to go about changing the configuration is were I get lost.

If your PC is responding to it in the test screen etc then it must be a software problem with the emulator, does the emulator allow controllers to be used?

Have you tried specifying that controller in the emulator?

It might think you're still using the keyboard or something...
