I have played Chrono Trigger an RPG made by Squaresoft on the SNES and found it a brilliant game. Like you do I tried to find out if it was being re-released onto a console and gladly heard it was coming out on the PS1. Then unfortunatly i found it was only coming out in America so i got quite annoyed. Does anyone else feel this way? If so then POST! POST! POST!

i don't know why i haven't really played it...
maybe it's cos rpgs take quite a lot of dedication and time...and i get intimidated by that (although i really like rpgs)...
also have chrono cross which is blimming brilliant :D

Beanz you should deffinetly play Tactics a great game I highly enjoyed it, Pariste Eve was a bit short but quite enjoyable.

I read that the GBA verison of Tactics is going to use pretty much the same battle system ie turn based over a grid (Bit like Laser Squad back in the day on C64, Spectrum). But with a totaly origonal story. It was ment to be realeased in Japan this Christmass but has been put back to the first quarter of 2003. So an american realease latter in 2003 and hopfully (Fingers crossed) if at all, a Autum/Winter realease in Europe.

But i personaly will probaly get it the when it hits the USA as the good old GBA has no region restrictions.

Yeh square have a habit of only realeasing games in America and Japan. Another exsample was Final Fantasy Tactics and Parasite Eve.

I imported Tactics and that was a fantastic game. I have heard their bringing out a version on the GBA so thats a bonues.

if you want to play chrono trigger...then find an emulator and it's rom...not hard...that's what i did...it is a truly great game...also available in US and japan on ps1 with all new anime cutscenes.

the sequel to chrono trigger -chrono cross has also been made and was released a few years ago on the ps1 in japan and america only...
i have it cos i imported a us ps1...and can tell you it is great...it must be one of the few games that were to receive 10/10 from gamespot.com and scored pretty highly (9.7 or something like that) on ign.com
