3 great consoles in the console war,
PS2, Gamecube and Xbox,
Who would want anymore?
3 powerful machines are amazing indeed,
But the big question still remains...which one will succeed?
Playstation user base huge and so mature,
But 90% of its games are really rather poor.
Metal Gear Solid 2 is its killer app,
Just a shame for a 4-player game you need a multi-tap.
Its dvd feature is a really nice cool bonus,
To watch films on a PS2 is very far from bogus.
PS2 is a fashion item & its street-cred is a rising,
It’s cool to be a gamer thanks to Sonys advertising.
Sony are the young upstarts in the industry,
But PS2 will be biggest of the three.
Gamecube is the tiny box of wonder,
Its funky purple colour will take it far & yonder.
Tiny disks fit in its cd tray,
And wow those Big N games are really fun to play.
Shigeru Miyamoto is the gaming god,
Nintendo fans are lucky to have such a clever bod.
Multi player gaming is a real treat,
Fierce competition & beating your brother is so very neat.
Nintendo games for young & old we all enjoy them maybe,
So much for those Sony fans who say you are a baby.
Link is our man and his adventures are so tasty,
Could his next quest be for casual gamers, who like to finish games hasty?
The massive Xbox is Microsofts great hope,
"Isn’t it just a flash P.C" says one unknowing dope.
Bill Gates has financial muscle to spend on his great dream,
But will the dream turn sour still remains to be seen.
Halo is an amazingly great FPS,
When another Xbox game can beat it is anybodies guess.
It’s huge & weighs more than a house,
Does it need Ctrl Alt Del or a P.C mouse?
At £300 the Xbox could be priced too high,
Add to this the price of games & only the rich need apply.
£150 for Gamecube is really nice & cheap,
Good for rich or poor who don’t like prices steep.

This could prove a clever Sony trick.

I may have to buy all 3 leaving my bank account feeling small.
