"Doing a Samson"

Walking through the corridors at work today, I decided that enough was enough, and placed my arms against two walls, and pushed hard.

Then my arm started to hurt, so I went and sat down, and checked on the internet that the bloke really was called Samson.

Maybe if I grow my hair I can bring this place down, but then again, I don't want to do it from the inside, as I'll get crushed.

I did exactly this Meka, and I lifted up.

Floaty like.

You should do a Simpson instead: undertake 40 years of apathetic low grade work with minimal productivty and maybe just maybe you'll affect the company/firm/organisation you work for so badly they'll go under.

I think I know where the problem lies.

Samson didn't have long hair when he pushed the pillars. It was after he'd been betrayed, so his hair was short. Have your head shaved, go back in to work and try again.


Samson was an idiot though really, so he deserves all he gets. I mean, for chrissake, the woman he's with asks him the secret of his strength every night, and then tries to weaken him. So what happens?

"Morning dear. I see you've hung a chain of sprouts around my neck."

"Really?"

"Yes, and what's more I seem to remember I told you last night that's what would deprive me of my strength."

"Oh my. What an astonishing coincidence. Almost as perculiar as the thing with the nail varnish last week. But you know of course, that I do love you and would never ever try to deprive you of your strength so that you could be captured and kept as a slave."

"Yes of course, I know that dear. I guess these coincidences just happen. Every night for about three months now."

"So what is the sectret of your strength?"

"You'll promise not to try anything this time, won't you?"

"Abosultely. You can trust me, you know."

"It's my hair. If it were to be cut, I'd lose all my strength. That won't happen though, will it."

"Of course not. Where do we keep the scissors again?"

Well considering he was chained up, I don't think he washed his hair at all.

I have long hair, but I am still unable to knock down walls by pushing them.

Am I doing something wrong?

My hair is still growing, but I can't get the strength. Perhaps it was the shampoo he used? I wouldn't be surprised if I could knock the walls down here though, they look so thin.
