If he died on that day, shouldn't it have been called Bad Friday?

Jesus wasn't born on Christmas day, it was some other day. People celebrated the 25th of December for something else (not sure what) and so they decided to celebrate Jesus' birth that day too

I'm not even sure if they know Jesus' (supposed) birth date
