Is it just me or do Sony games run solely on image? Take a look at the PS1 for example, what 'Classic' games did it have? Crash? Spyro? Yes, back in the day there were some good gaes, but none that I can look back on with great memories and call it a 'classic'.

Now with he PS2. What great games has it got that aren't out on other consoles? GTA? Jax and Daxter? I honestly can't think of anymore that I would consider buying if they came onto my hallowed Cube.

And don't start slagging me off for having my own opinion.

Well, for me there are only 3 games worth getting on the GC. Super Monkey Ball, Resident Evil and Eternal Darkness. I know they're worth getting, because I have them. Also had Rogue Squadron 2, but got bored of it pretty quick and sold it on eBay.

Xbox has a few more. I have 4 at the moment, and am getting Splinter Cell for Xmas.

PS2 has had a stack of them over the years. Even now I have 13 games that, for me, are well worth having. And that's not including a large number I've traded in over the last few years, or the 8 that I recently sold on eBay after completing them.

Each to their own.

So it's a classic, but the fact the PS2 has a classic game doesn't help, it just means you want it? What kind of screwy logic am I working with here?

Well the fact you'd buy a crappy game because of silly names shows how worthwhile your custom is.

Besides helicopters, motorcycles, chainsaws, katanas, knives, knuckledusters, interiors, longer missions...need I go on?

How would a console based add-on work, again?

Primal is a 3rd person action adventure, like Tomb Raider. And blah to you.

It's converted many a gamer to RPGs, including myself.

Common knowledge dictates Ratchet and Clank is the better game, not to mention how SMS is doing nothing more than living off its big brothe,r much like what you accuse the PS2 of doing.

And of course, one reviewer's opionion will equal yours.

I wasnt talking about your cartoon character games. I was talking about Nintendo's relationship with konami.

Animal Crossing

WTF??? You get to help animals cross over a bridge? wow, don't think GTA: Vice City can compete with that...

I'd really like to see you expand on your points.
What good GC games are out / coming out?
What good PS2 games are out / coming out?

It seems you're a little bias.
PS2 has just has a fantastic autumn and the new year seems just as good. I'd love a GC if I could afford it as I know I'd love some of the games on it.

Then you're slating the PS2's games becasue they're multi-format? What's that about?
Surely it's a good thing - owners of other consoles getting to share the same experiences?

Sure, you're entitles to your opinion and all, but i think it's wrong. PS2 has agreat selection of good games out and yet to come - covering all genres with a variety of titles.
I hate to say it but GC is still a little stuck in the bright 'n' colourful market.

Here's my opinion:
PS2 and GC both crap on XB from a height. PS2 have a great line up, so does GC - with more variations in their titles on the horizon.
Just becasue people own one console, doesn't mean they have to autmatically hate the other one.

Does that make the game any worse than it currently is? No. It just means we'll be enjoying it once you'#ve probably traded it in or put it to the back of your collection.

Zelda, Metroid, Final Fantasy (I don't particularly like it, but hey), Animal Crossing, Sonic... hmmm Pooey
