The disabled Olympics Developer: EA Format: All
This game will follow the Olympics to a tee, of course the into has been changes to ‘EA GAMES ITS IN THE LIMP’. It will have all of the top sports and even (due in main to a ‘Brainwave’ from the producer) the hurdles, in this special even your character will have to race 110 metres without being knocked out!
The game will have a year long advertising campaign followed by a two month radio slot.
Magazine reviews:
OXM: 9.9/10 A great game truly great brought together by some skilful AI.
OPSM2: 9.99/10 A great game truly great brought together by some skilful AI.
ONM: 10.1/10 A great game truly great brought together by some skilful AI.
Note: This had nothing to do with EA’s recent payment to all of these mags *looks edgy*
Super Blinded Mario Developer: Nintendo Format: Gamecube
MARIO IS BACK! (or so the slogan says) and this time blinder than ever(??) The story shows his desperate quest to regain Peach’s love. You see after his loss of sight Peach went around sleeping with everybody she could find (after all if he can’t see it its Ok right?) but after a while Luigi despite his dim whitted nature found out and told Mario. In this ‘Epic Quest’ Mario must kill every male (with the exception of Luigi of course) to stop Peach from cheating on him. We get to see Mario’s emotions in this game and for the first time you must direct a highly skilful AI Mario using voice control. The twist at the end of the game is truly memorable as Luigi ends up sleeping with Peach. For the first time Mario has a truly cinematic feel especially as it is split into ‘Chapters’
Magazine Review:
ONM: This is Mario’s best adventure yet. Moving but light hearted, graphically brilliant but still colourful. 99%!
Tomb Raider: Quest for the heater Developer Eidos Format: All
Lara Croft is back and this time colder than ever. Her sex appeal has been lost as the doctors have advised her to keep warm. Unrelenting with the series Eidos insisted on making a new game despite her only weapon (looks) gone. The adventure follows her real life quest to find a cheap, energy efficient heater. Her budget is her only problem having no money she must do whatever it takes to get warm.
The game really has infinite life with the ability to look around forever or to decline good heaters.
Magazine reviews:
OXM: We need more from Lara the only saving grace is its lifetime. 6.6/10
OPSM2: A fantastic achievement from Eidos ‘A Lara Croft game that shouldn’t be rated 18’ 8.9/10
ONM: A poor attempt of a game we want Mario! 55%
Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of the Physio! Developer: Konami Format: All
Yes you read right ‘Physio’ as in physiotherapist. You see not long ago Crash put his back out of place and without realising went to an evil Physio (Cortex’ Dad!) When Crash was in treatment the evil doctor jarred his back even more. Now with Crash out of the way ‘Mr. Physio’ is free to take over the world. It is up to you to save it by using your trusty zimmer-frame! The game boasts fantastic AI and amazing graphics and with Crash in it, its a sue fire hit!
Magazine reviews:
OXM: Great just great. 9.0/10
OPSM2: Best. Crash. Ever! 9.4/10
ONM: Superb! 90%
Sonic’s adventures in a wheelchair: Developer: Sega Format: Gamecube
Sonic is back and slower than ever. He controls the wheelchair with his chin (due to his severed spinal cord), of course he can still do everything we expect from him even Skateboarding (just a very big skateboard). The game comes with its own custom controller in the form of a neckbrace just like him you must control sonic using your chin and you even have a rope that you pull with your teeth to do special moves. His special moves include wheely and bunny hop. The story follows Sonic as he attempts to defeat Dr Robotnic once again. Of course there will be little action as the doctor has agreed that it would be silly to pit Sonic against him therefore he must be defeated in various boring internet games.
Magazine Review:
ONM: Pure brilliance Sega have created a game to appeal to the older market at last. 89%
Of course it won’t stop there, there will be several musicians come about due to this PR these will include…
Head-Wound:
This rapper will really come into his own with today’s kids liking ‘Gore’ more and more he decided to leave his bloody head untended to and see what happened.
The result:
After a few months he was a world-wide hit but his head soon got infected and he passed away. His record company insisted that it was a ‘Gang war’ and he had ‘died painfully’. His record sales after death almost tripled and for years to come there were imitations.
Rick Waller (With a triple heart bypass)
His songs finally make sense! In an ironic turn of events Rick has literally broken his own heart by going on an all night eating binge. His songs will now start to sell really well because they actually make sense!
So in coming months we are to see this unseen ‘Gap’ in the market filed. Will it pay off? Only time will tell…
