Even after spending loads of money on Christmas presents, people still go out when the sales start and buy like mad.
Well if you have watched the news recently u would of seen that people are actually making themselves go into debt using their credit cards.
Okay things are slightly cheaper than usual but there could be a war about to start and using their credit card doesnt mean they have loads to spend.
How crazy are some people nowadays shopaholics anyone?

Get used to it. Many, many people are already in this situation. I could "easily" get into debt. My credit card statement gives me nearly 4 weeks to pay up, and even then I m only required to pay a small part of the bill (like £5 or £10). The rest could be onto the next bill, where the same thing could happen again. Before you know it, you could end up ££££££££££££££ in debt. Also, I get loads of junk mail (snail mail) every week trying to get me to take out loans. They say what your could buy with the money, but it takes YEARS to pay it back. And you pay more, because it's over such a long time. Another example. I could have bought a much more expensive car, but repayments would have taken 10-15 years to complete. Thats 10-15 years where a chunk of money is being taken out of my account every month, and at the end of it, the car will be almost worthless!

I think it's true that the UK now has the most people in debt of any EU country.

Still, if interest rates go up, it *might* make people think twice.

His sentence made no sense.

And I vow never to go shopping with women. I have done on numerous occasion, and all ended in tragedy.

Not really. But once me and my friend were with a group of about 4 other guys and 4 other gals, and it was taking so long that we crept away and went home. It was funny because they didn't know where we'd gone. Even funnier, we were already at home when they decided to ring my mate's mobile to ask him where he was. Classic.

If you see £5 off a game during the sales then you are lucky. Usually they just discount the crap games.
