So what do you think...
It's certainly oneof the best games on the console... certainly one of the best racers...
I think we'll all admit it leaves XG3 standing...
I hate trance music, garage music and all the crap in between - but the songs aren't that bad, and they're perfect for the job. I think it could be a little faster, but then again, I haven't actually finished more than 3 races, and I haven't upgraded my ship at all. (I think you can in the game).
I'd definitely recommend it.
Sure, it's not a new franchise, but it's still ground-breaking... the physics are perfect.. and I mean perfect... have you ever shot some grenades out when you're in the middle of a small jump.. they fly in the air (45-degrees-ish), and you can see them in the distance as they fall down in front of you... and when you're going down (to a lower altitude) they bounce quicker and not as high!
I haven't seen the quake disruptor in action yet, but I don't think it'll have any trouble beating Rumble Racings Tornado as the best Racing power-up!!
The graphics are definitely above par in my book. The draw distance is amazing, and the neon effects are genius! The sounds good, especially the menu music :)!
So, what does anyone else think? The slow down, that happened when too much stuff went on at once seems to have gone... at least compared to the demo.
Overall, i'm impressed. It's no Nintendo Kiddie Racer, but for an 18-Year-Old with many 'Hip' friends, its perfect for the PS2 collection!
Game
Anyone want to buy XG3? :D
