I got a suprising 4 games this year... 2 Gamecube and 2 GBA and this is what i thought:
Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast :- Heavily dissapointed... it's hardly the worst game on the cube but there is much better games out there... only buy if you truly loved the old dark forces games.
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 (Gamecube) :- Outstanding! One of the finest games I own truly an excellent title that surpasses pro skater 3 dramatically! Very glad I got this.
Metroid Fusion (GBA) - Incredible... my first Metroid experience (from a Nintendo fan shock horror) is the fourth title in the series and incredibly good. The game concept is thrilling and I am suprised by this. I am already hunting down Metroid, Metroid 2 (GB game) and Super Metroid. GET THIS!
Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island (GBA) :- Another suprise game (like Metroid) I didn't expect to get. At last my Mario Advance collection is now up to date with the cream of the crop and really this is. I had this oldie on the SNES as well yet replaying it is certainly not a chore ( i didn't play it much the first time round). Another must get.
I discovered this Christmas after getting both of Nintendo's main GBA games that the GBA was truly Nintendo's main concentration... I'm glad to see more high class games coming out so quickly... with Golden Sun 2, Zelda on the horizon it looks like theres no slowing down.
the levels are something like 3 or 4 times as good as tony hawk's 3, yet there are less of them...
starfox as I have said elsewhere today, is good, but not a classic. if you buy games for graphics, this should be top of the list the game looks better than anything else on the console, no contest. but as for gameplay, it's not a patch on mario.

That sucks because now I really want to change my Tony Hawks 3 for 4.
Grrr and I took the plastic wrapping off yesterday.

Something about the X-parasite losing some of hegr abilities or something...
It is a class game...
With nearly 15 titles I feel I have enough to keep me happy for now, but I do intend to buy a GameBoy Advance + games either next-month or in February - depending on how much money I lose on Driving Lessons.
There wasn't really anything I wanted this year - except maybe Eternal Darkness after having done both Mario SunShine and StarFox Adventures now.
And anyway, I've got at-least-10 superb N64 games that I still need to complete, and I'm really getting into my N64 games now after completing the incredible Zelda: Ocarina of Time at the start of the week.
There are still actually quite a few GameCube games I want... But I just can't be bothered with them right now!
That's strange, as I usually end-up spending a lot of my free-time playing on it...
Must be the `Christmas Spirit` or something?
I'll offer you £40
It's OK, you COULD buy Super Metroid off of me for £30...

No grappling beam!?
*Loses interest in Fusion*
