Back when Nintendo was displaying the GameCube they showed a video in which a 3D Mature looking Link. Then towards the beginning of this year they showed a new Link. He was now a cartoon, very animated, and this made fans very angry. Fans complained and whined about the look, saying Nintendo was going to the kids and not trying to give the gamers what they want. The time is near for this game and it has not been changed, the new look stays. People are still complaining, no matter what great webmasters such as the PlanetGameCube one or even me say after playing it: You love the game. They continue to insult and whine. Why can’t we go back to the time when the games were about the games? Back when a flat 2D Link was all we needed? Why all of sudden does realism come into play? Yes, Nintendo can make the games look real, but does that mean they should? Should they make the game real or just keep things what they are: a very good imaginative character? I like the new look because it keeps the game fresh and I frankly do not want a really looking Link just like I don’t want a real looking Mario. Games are for fun, so why not keep the looking interesting, why must we complain about everything Nintendo does instead of thanking them for giving us such a great franchise, all of you who complain about the look are not fans, just hypocrites in my mind who do not play games to have fun, rather to see how much we can get them to look like us. I think this shows off more of the graphics then before, but I an argue this point until I am blue in the face because if you are determined to not like this game because of the look you won’t be able to enjoy the true game, and that’s why you should be complaining, not because it doesn’t look the way you want, but because that look is a distraction and is too horrible to overcome- wait, the graphics aren’t horrible, so what is stopping you from buying this game? The fact you think this look “isn’t cool”. I for one am buying the Legend of Zelda because I know this is a good game, made by a guy who has given us so many great games and by a company who has been here forever. If that is not enough to buy this game then you are missing out on the best game since Metroid Prime (Hehe, and before that Mario Sunshine). I am sorry if this soft of attacked all you people who dislike the graphics but when you mess with Nintendo, you mess with me, a true Nintendo fan. If you claim to be a fan don’t hate it until you have truly played it, don’t say it’s bad unless you have valid points. Why don’t we be thankful for Miyamoto creating the great franchise he has, or even be thankful Nintendo has been around this long? We are too busy concerned with what the other people tell us is great, and not what we know is great: Nintendo Gaming. I am getting the new Zelda without even a second thought, will you?

If this was an English essay I would give it a maximum of a "D" grade, that's only because it was not parragraphed.

That happened to me in my English Mock exams, God damn it!

I don't really get what all this hostility is for. A simple "Sorry I'm wrong, I will use paragraphs in future!" would have sufficed.

I guess the moral of the story is if you want people to read your posts, make them readable.

No, moron. Do as he says, and learn paragraphs. I won't read big blocks of text, as if the author can't be bothered to split them into chunks my eyes can read, chances are he hasn't put any effort into the actual content either.

Any idea what grade I'd get for my dissertation if I handed in a 10,000 word block of text like that?

If you have a headache, go take a pill, if you have trouble reading go back to primary school. Its not how the writing is set out, its what it says.

So stop complaining!
