Hrm, three popups is a little over the top. Having each menu item as a seperate piece of flash seems a bit pointless, although it works quite well -- the redraw effect when you click any of them is actually quite pretty, at least with Gecko and the linux flash plugin.
Otherwise, it's cool. I'd agree on the L'pdate thing.. just join up the line to the base of the U.
One thing I would look into though is making it fit on the screen without having to scroll left/right. Up and down is fine, but if you can, get rid of the left/right scroll so it fit's in nicely :o).
Also, if you want to get rid of the ad's, Freeola are a good Host, Unlimited space and no Banners of theirs. You just have to be willing to connect through them to Upload and Update the site.

Nice design, love the menu, but it looks a bit

Shame about

I totally agree! Also i'm not sure on the font in the title image. It kinda reads "PS2 L' pdate" - sounds french...

Shame about the banners and pop-ups. nothing more annoyingthan having to put up with them everythime you go back to the home page.
I have a couple of whinges...
1) The copyright notice. Copyright for what? It its the design/images, then fair enough but if it's about the content you could run into some trouble depending on where you are sourcing your information from. You need to be a little more clear on what is being covered by your copyright statement.
2)The menu. I'm one of those who likes rollovers on a menu, it gives a sense of "interaction" with the page, but if your going to do one that moves up and down, do it properly and get the text to follow too... it looks a little daft after a while.
Apart form that, not bad. As I said, the pop-ups and the vote for me is really annoying after a while and I beleive there nothing you can do to loose the banner at the top apart from have it hosted somewhere else that doesn't force you to use their banners...
Looking forward to seeing some more content in it...
