I have been searching for a film and a song (no related to each other) for literally years. Without a title, artist, director etc, It has proven quite difficult if not imposable.

The 'SONG'

All I know is that this song featured on Now that's what I Call Music 24 (which I used to own some years ago). The track featured around other tracks, Love Song For a Vampire - Annie Lennox and Ordinary World - Duran Duran. I have sucessfully found both the latter tracks but am searching for this 'other' one.

The lyrics went something like "God looked through a cloud ... How could it come to this"

The FILM

Even less info about this film. I saw this film a few years ago on BBC2 I think. I missed the beginning but I soon picked up the plot.

The plot was that during a nuclear attack that killed (nearly) everybody, about 5 people survived because they died at the same time the attack happened. I can remember that one person committed suicide and person was involved in a fight and this is how both theses happened to die during the attack.

Am I mad? probably but surly you have had that 'feeling' when you were (are) searching for something but cannot find it, how ever hard you try.

I would be extremely grateful for ay help and maybe, just maybe you could stop me going insane.

I checked this out and no it's not the right film but it does sound quite good

"Red Dawn opens with one of the most shocking scenes ever filmed; on a peaceful morning, through the windows of a high school classroom, students see paratroopers land on the varsity football field: the invasion of the United States has begun! As their town is overrun, eight teenagers escape to the mountains. Taking the name of their high school football team, the Wolverines, they wage unremitting guerrilla warfare in defence of their parents, their friends and their country."
