How do you kill Inspector Mcormack?
you have to sneak around and follow him down to the interview room. you can only kill him then. you can't get seen

Don't know what game you're talking about, but I presume it's The Getaway.

right I presume you reached the room with the gun.
Once you get the gun you shoot him a couple of times and he runs off. Go into the room where you got the gun and wait for the cops to come in - shoot them all before heading in the direction the inspector ran off.
You have to keep shooting and letting him run while taking out the cops who come after you.
You will finally reach an interview room downstairs where you shoot him and he goes down and the sequence starts.
It just takes a few times to learn where he goes, where the cops comes from and where you can recharge your health safely.
