Also Sega has been up and running for a year and have had time to set up an online network. They should really have waited to release the console until they had the network up and running as the complete inability to deliver online gaming from the word go has dented their reputation but that is neither here nor there. Sony will eventually deliver online gaming when they have decided what their strategy is and hopefully only after they have put in place the infrastructure that will make this possible (unlike Sega).
I personally dont care much for online gaming anyway but if I did then I would buy a DC now and a PS2 at the end of next year when the on-line strategy becomes clear. Maybe when a better variety of games are online playable (beat em ups, racers etc and not just FPS's) then I will consider online gaming worthwhile.
Nice one Tiger.
