"Demo magazines?"

Any one heard about whether or not any magazines will have demo dvd's on?
Are there magazines in the states that you could get with some on?

I like the idea of demo discs for the GameCube, as we could see how games like Zelda actually play first, before critisizing it! But I don't know if they would be given away with magazines?? People would nick them easily, maybe you could order them, like you could with some PSX discs??
And maybe they should do them with the console, also like the PS? Nah, that's too Sony!
But they're still a good idea!

I dunno if they have em in the US. And I can't be bothered to find out at the moment. Ask me on MSN l8r and I'll find out for ya.

Have the US Gc mags got Demos?

But the Dreamcast used GD-ROMs, yet we still got demo discs with the official mag.

However, I think you're right Cook - we won't see demo discs. The transition from cartridges to discs is a big step for Nintendo, and I think demo discs is just a step too far! Maybe for Gamecube2...

Going that the GC uses propiety (or however you spell it) cd's which are 8cm wide, and are made specially for them. I don't think that there will be demo cd's!
