I have been trying for the past few days to put up an add on my website.
Whenever I try to put up an add and then go to veiw my page it either comes up with a box with some shapes in it or a box marked with an X or just nothing at all!

If it helps I use yahoo geocities for my site!

Please help me!

This may seem stupid and obvious, but I'll ask anyway:

- Have you checked the name/spelling of the image???
- Have you checked the Upper/Lower case of the image ...
sometimes that could be the reason..
- Is the image in the same Web Folder as the .html page???
- Have you got the extension right???

What I do a lot is put a .jpg referance in the bit when it's really a .gif file, and vice versa.

Check all of those, and let us know.

Is the idea to click on the banner taking you to your home page or SR?

If so:

The html has ended in a "?" which is really unusual as they only appear in query strings?

No space just before the numbers.

I made a space there so I could post the topic
