The writer of 6th Sense, Unbreakable and the new blockbuster (well sort of new) Signs, M.Night Somethingorother may be a good film writer but I have found a flaw.
In unbreakable, the hero (bruce willis) is a superhero who's only weakness is water. Fair enough, doesn't make the film bad, but Signs, the aliens are ALSO allergic to water and it causes them to well, die.
This is pretty unoriginal and I was disappointed with Signs (But I saw it twice anyway).
Do you think this is just rushed writing or idiotic cheapskatedness ?

What all of you are talking about in here about, dissing Independance Day, Signs etc, I seem to like all of them, and what you think, is not what other people think.
Sign was the biggest load of bollards I have ever seen. What the hell was the crap GGI alien all about. Rubbles. At least I had free preview tickets and didn't have to pay.

Independance day ripped off every Sci Fi film you could care to name (don't!): it was pants.

Well, in War of the Worlds the aliens died because out atmosphere was poisonous to them.
Count less films after that have used gas and posion, how un-original were they!
