whats the point if theres nothin to do

The Free Roaming mode is good, sure it does suffer from a lack of tasks to keep you occupied, but the free roaming mode is all about exploring the city.

By the way, so far I've found the Tank, TVR, Go Cart, Elise, Golf Buggy and I think the GTO as well. And Juicy Melons, the tank does shoot, you just press the button for the horn though you have to watch out, if you fire it too close you'll destroy yourself.

Yeah, i got the tank on my first day. It's kind of "in" Buckingham Palace, it's behing the fence, so just keep riding around the palace. But, i've tried to get it since and failed. There's nothing special about it, it doesn't shoot or run over cars, it's just undistructable.

You dont have to unlock this though do you? Somebody said they have had a ride in a tank earlier before they had unlocked free roaming

The fact that it is slightly different from a car, that's about it.
