... to speed up my Internet connection??
All of a sudden the net seems to be so slow, anytime I try and use it. These forums alone are taking around 40 seconds to load a thread. Not to mention the other sites it takes got knows how long to load.
So, is there anything I can do to my computer hardware/software to tweek it at all??
Could it be my modem being crap???
Anything appart from telling me to get ADSL would be very helpful.

I have Freeserve AnyTime, which wasn't amazing to begin with. ut I think it's something my end, as my Freeola connection is just as bad.
Rob, could I check for a Trojan other than using a virusscan??? As It won't even allow me to update my Virus scanner online, as the connection is that bad.
I did just put in a new Motherboard and CPU, do you think that would have killed it???? I would have thought if anything it would have been better, but it does seem to have got worse ever since I put it in. Plus other things are breaking more often, so I've got no idea whats going on.
What I might do is, seeing as I'm getting a new Hard Drive soon, I'm gonna re-install Windows and Everything, and come back here if the connection is still bad, just incase you people can help more :o).

Check for trojans, it could be caning your connection. Also, have you fiddled with your connection recently or installed any software?
