Went to the damn January sales (how can they be january sales in December?!) on Saturday. Managed to get a dragon necklace for a really small price, meant to get it before Christmas for the wife, but now got it cheaper.
She wanted me to get loads of stuff for other people, so she wasn't expecting anything. She loved it, and the chinese earings I got her and needless to say I had a fun night ;-)

The missus is out doing the sales today, and I'm meeting her in town after work to do a bit myself. Might get me a digital camera with my xmas cash, and trade in a bunch of PS2 games and get a GC.
I can't stand the sales. The sight of all those women fighting over scraps of clothes is akin to a glut of angry vultures about to descend upon an unsuspecting victim. Everyone likes a bargain but there's no way you'd catch me waiting for 2 hours to enter and shop and then queueing for another hour just to buy a pair of jeans that have been reduced to £20...
