Is it possible to play and save PS1 gmes on a PS2? My son had a PS2 for christmas and has been playing Harry Potter the chamber of secrets for PS1 on it but he is unable to save any of the game. He has a PS2 memory card, will it save if he had a PS1 memory card?

PS1 controllers do work on PS2, but
1) you won't get the new touch sensative features used in most PS2 games. Don't even think about using a PS2 driving game with a PS1 controller!
2) I have one PS2 game (can't remember which), that *requires* a PS2 handset. Apparently, the game wont work at all with PS1 controllers.

PS1 controllers do work on PS2, but

to save ps1 games you need a ps1 memory card and yes you can save it if the ps1 memory card is in the ps2

yes ps1 games save on ps1 memory cards ps2 games save on ps2 memory cards its so annoying having to change memory cards when u want to play a ps1 game

yes ps1 games save on ps1 memory cards ps2 games save on ps2 memory cards its so annoying having to change memory cards when u want to play a ps1 game
