The WWF is seen by non-fans as fake, loud rubbish.
Yes thw WWF is fake, but it is entertainment and is based squarely on storylines rather than performances in matches. Look beyond the fake over the top action and you will find an engrossing production that has as many twists as ....mmmmm.....something very twisted up!!
In some sense it is predictable but there is always a twist in the plot you never expect.
The WWF pulls you in a plays with your emotions, disappointment is a fave among the storywriters!!
The wrestlers mix comedy with serious issues. Austin has become comic at this stage in his career, how humiliating it must be for anyone who dares speak on the show and be barraged by chants of "what?"! The Rock knows how to get the crowd on their feet, and Y2J and Kurt Angle really know how to play the heel card.
Watch the WWF, but don't watch it as a wrestling show but as an entertainment production that mixes emotions, full on action, comedy, excitement and loud music in one package that has made it so big across the world!

There are three basic groups of people who watch the WWF, The kids who watch it for fun, the real fans who have never missed a match and the peopel like me who long for the days when these guys could actually still hold a match together.

If you want an intelectual evening watch open university, if you want a fun couple of hours watch Raw/Smackdown. Okay the plots are wafer thin, but there a re normally a few matches to keep you entertained and you can always ogle the ladies!.

For real hardcore wrestling I suggest you pick up old ECW tapes/dvds as they have all the violent athletic displays the WWF wouldn't dare show.

Why not give the WWf a go. Its not a scientific or mensa type sport, it is purely entertainemtn and if looked at that way should hold your attentian for a while.

I have been a fan for over 12 years now and show no signs of lettiing up, I enjoy the storylines, half the fun is predicting the next move the writers have, watching old pros beat guys who should slaughter them and observe newcomers getting their lessons on life in the WWF.

If you want to see violent sports watch hockey or something, if you want to be amazed at how a man can fly through a table and get up unscathed watch the WWF.

Give it a chance and you never know we migt see you in the front row of a Raw with a banner in hand declaring yuor love for Vince McMahon???

It's quite simple...watch it, if you like it, watch it again. If you don't...then don't. tThere shouldn't be any need for us to convince you to watch it.

Actually, the way th WWF is right now, you pretty much know everything that's going to happen. Yeah, it is that damn good. Hell yeah I'll never stop watching it. But it's pretty much predictable now.

The reason we watch wwf is because it's that damn good! And you never know what the hell is gonna happen there could be men running down to the ring and beating up other people, there could be people singing and dancing dammit. Hell there even could be ho's coming down to the ring and dancing or there could be two fit women wrestling in a pool full of egg-nog, or a pool full of gravy.
So that is why the wwf is worth watching you never know what is going to happen!

OK. I don’t need this! I don’t need to ‘convince’ you why WWF is worth watching. Simply because of this: I DON’T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOU!! I can watch WWF every week and not get tired of it! It doesn’t bother me that you don’t like it! Why should I?! If you don’t like it then tough! I don’t care! I don’t need to help you!

I’m Tazz.
