Game: Amelie
Pitch: Based on the very popular and - frankly - amazing French picture, the game version sees players taking the role of Audrey Tautou's "Amelie Poulaine". It is your job to run around twenty-five square miles of France collecting various objects that belong to people, and returning them to their owners. Once returned, Amelie earns small "Love tokens" that go onto her "Heart Meter" in the lower right of the screen. Once this is full, Amelie gets to run around in "Amelie-Time" which sees the player able to move faster, even though everything around her is moving slower. This burst of super-human movement lasts for only five seconds but is useable at any time providing the heart Meter is full.
Developer: Smilebit
Think of: Jet Set Radio meets Grand Theft Auto, with a little bit of Tony Hawks 4 and a lot of The Getaway.
Game: The Many Chins of Lisa Riley
Pitch: You start off waking up in the neck area of Lisa, not knowing where you are and as you go on you start to recall all the events that have happened over the past couple of days beginning with when you were attacked and nearly eaten by the great behemoth. As the game progresses you fight serious monsters like wart people and rotten food that have strayed off their journey finally leading to a big showdown. Travel through the nine districts of turkey chin to reach your ultimate goal, freedom!
Game: Topic Eater
Pitch: You receive a tin of Celebrations for Christmas, and then take all of the Topics out of it. Your task is to find someone you know, friend or family, that actually likes the horrible things. How about your aunt in London? Your mate down the road? Or even your boss? When somebody actually accepts them, you win!
Game: National Lottery: The Game
Pitch: A National Lottery game, I mean, why not? Who Wants To Be A Millionaire has been done and that's much worse and IT worked! Picture it now, millions of foolish individuals celebrating and harking over winning a virtual lottery! Or it could be a big, flappy, flop!
Or how about Duke Nukem Forever? :P
Flux.
