Maybe if developers could publish their own games we mite see less drab. And how hard could it be? All it requires is a bit of plastic or cardboard, and some coloured ink. Oh, and a few million pounds worth of machinery but they are making that kind of money to do it.
At present, if it wasn't for the coding talent of a few quality developers that are able to work under these difficult conditions, I don't think we would have a single decent game out there.
So publishers, give them some slack or prepare for the backlash of the industry dying.
