I know it's not about Gaming but I have had a lot of problems with BT in my house. The most recent of these being they were "Fixing" the telephone lines to my house and they crossed are line with someone who lives 2/3 of a mile down the road. I have to call their number to get through to my house! All of my friends are calling my number and getting our neighbours!
This isn't the first time BT have messed up. "Fixing" seems to be where it all goes wrong. One time they managed to knock down a telephone pole and it splatted to sheep that were eating grass in it's shadow. Instant sheep burgers. They also managed to cut off our phone line totally one time.
The problem thistime isn't really the phones... I'm not bothered about that, it's the internet... I don't have any because of the mix up. I'm sitting in school typing this because my Dad is at a meeting. It's suck ass!
If anybody else has had any problems put 'em down here and complain about BT! You know you wanna!

I don't have BT internet but the phone line was crossed with a neighbour and it didn't recognise me as being me!
You don't realise what you've got until it's gone.
Stay in halls of residence, with the privately owned monopolising companies running your phone lines instead, and you'll wish you had BT back. They may be incompetent, but at least their prices are pretty good.

My Dad used to work for BT as an IT technition. This meant we had to be loyal to the company by using BT (using cable was 'frowned upon'). It also meant I couldn't really insult BT as they were providing the food on my plate.
But they sold him off to a company called "Computer Centre", so now that he doesn't work for BT, I can honestly say:
BT are Rubbish!!!! They are constantly messing things up, and they charge too much. The great thing is, I should be getting Cable Broadband soon. Stuff that up your pipe and smoke it BT.

Just a quick correction BT's phone company has nothing to do with there BT internet there completly seperate, i know as one of my uncles works for em,
i hate BT internet it takes so long to connect, i start it dialing and come back 30mins later to find it's only just connected.
why can't telewest or NTL whack a cable down my way :(
