I saw the movie on sale for £2.99 at HMV in Worcester :) was tempted to get it.

Managed to get 2 of the figures while on holiday in Ibiza during the 80's, but they never sold them here.
Dammit, wish I'd still kept those nice die-cast ones. Now they're all horrible plastic only cheap looking things.
It's just like Action man. Bring back the multi-limbed, pull-to-talk, eagle-eyed ones with the short bristly hair.

I don't remember watching many Transformers cartoons... Dunno if it was a little before my time or I just was watching other stuff... I remember Ghost Busters, Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, and before that He-Man and Thundercats...
I had an Optimus Prime toy.
Oh yeah I forgot about the Dinobots :D I had the stegasarus one, my older brother had the T-Rex one and younger brother had the Three horned one.
We had most of the other figures too like Prime.

Bumblebee was cool, but got killed in the movie (then remade later with a new body).
As per usual, now there are several alternate universes to confuse me. Will be interesting to see if the forthcoming live action movie sticks to the original story or not.
They could kill all our fond childhood memories.
