Literally. You can't walk for more than about 3 minutes before either stepping in or seeing a bit of dog crap. ugh.
New years Eve was good. Spent it on a boat by mistake. We were on the (water)'bus' on our way to San Marco (equvalent of Trafalgar Square) and because of some edodgy driver we didnt get there on time. We hear everyone outside cheering etc.. etc...
Other than that this is my summary of the trip:
Got mucked around at Airport. (Arrived 2 hours before take-off. Checked-in as last people because of lastminute.com)
Headache on Plane.
Met eccentric uncle in airport.
Went to hotelroom and watched MTV.
Watched porn.
Saw Venice.
Saw guy making Glass Horse.
Got ripped off on glass 'art'
meh. I can't be bothered to carry on. My heads spinning and I just realised you're probably not interested.

Oh yes. and there was a lot of smashed bottles.
Imagine this sight;
You're in the middle of a bloody picturesque old Square and there's a big void (circle: 50m wide) in in the middle with people around it, staring. In the big void there's a lot of smashed glass. Drunkard in the middle looking for bottles and smashing them and screaming.
t'was funny
Another funnier sight however was 4 Japanese tourists standing in a huddle. in the same square. They had backbacks on and all. They were actually huddling around a Guide book to Venice working out what to do next :-D
