I have many varieties of nut in a bowl before me, yet none will crack. Discuss.

I'm not a fan of nuts myself....
Yes, pecans and cashews are nicest. Normal nuts just scare me - I mean the fear and anticipation of when it's going to crack and the not knowing of where your fingers will end up. It's like chaos theory, but with nuts.
Eat salted peanuts. Y'know the ones from the pub that don't need to be cracked.
