I was flicking through the SR catalogue, and saw the Inspire speakers for the Gamecube - but I have to ask, how does it connect to the Gamecube? The PS2 and the Xbox both have Optical Out connectors, but not eh GC, so I'm completely baffled. Please help.

I am having the same problems with my Home Cinema AMP and connecting to my GameCube. The GameCube only runs off Pro Logic/Pro Logic 2 and therefore the Digital connections (coaxial and optical) are of no use. The AMP must either have a left and right analog jack connection or a straight left and right phono connection. The Red and White (right and left) phono connections attatched to your scart then go into your AMP (left to left and right to right). The problem I am having is with my AMP not having Phono connections and just the analog jack connections so I can't connect my GameCube to my AMP as of yet. However earlier today I purchased 2 seperate Phono to jack connections so that they will connect into my analog sockets simulating Dual Phono connections (left and right) and therefore once they arrive I should have no problem connecting my GameCube to my AMP.

A great place to purchase andnsearch for connections for music appliances is:

www.maplin.co.uk

If you get a picture of the AMP from SR then you can see if it already has the Phono connections on it and if it does you just need to purchase it. However if it doesn't and it only has Analog sockets (left and right) you can improvise and do what I have done and purchase the 2 Phono connections and attatch them to your AMP so your GameCube can finally be hooked up to Surround Sound system and hopefully getting Pro Logic/Pro Logic 2 sound.

When my connections arrive I will update you on whether they work or not :)
