I bought Haven: Call of the King today. Game have it on sale at £19.98.
Pretty darn good, too. Graphically not as good as Ratchet & Clank, but solid and believable. It's fun, and there's lots to do in it - lots of vehicles to fly/drive etc. haven't got too far into it yet, but what I've seen has impressed.
Oddly, PSW only rated it at 5/10 in their half-page review - which to me is an insult to a very credible game. Other mags have rated it higher - I think PSM2 and OPS2 gave it 7 or 8, but I can't remember. Still, worth getting - especially at under £20!

It's a game I was looking foward too until the slightly dissapointng reveiws. But now its cheap - its mine.

Have you heard - everything got a big ol' thumbs up except its length - which got a big thumbs down.

Yep, that was me! I've been keeping an eye on it, and I'm still interested. I'm never too worried about the length of a game - as long as it's fun, it's worth the money as far as I'm concerned.

Length = value for money. Hence the FF love.

Games like Ico lasted about 9 hours, but it was well, well worth it. Shame no-one else bought it.
