Well most people this Christmas got the PS2 but we should have all waited for the Gamecube. This neat little console has better graphics a better future and made by two top leading companys unlike just one with the others. And we saw the old version of the N64 this means the light at the end of the tunnel is gettign closer with this cool piece of Kit.

What you should get? Easy, But I won't go for Gamecube, Cos it may not be your style so i'll help you out here'
Dreamcast = Dreamcast, Online gaming, Its whats got to get it. Its Graphics are good with great games such as House of the dead 2 and Phantasy Star Online. but the thing is with the online gaming is this: Theres a very few games in europe for the dreamcast to have Online gaming. Also it costs 5p per min On peak and you can't have your own ISP. So You'll have pricy Phone bills. But the First person shooters for the dreamcast are the best out there. Quake III (Which has Online Gaming!)Unreal Torument!! And even if you grab out more money get a Keybroad and Mouse. The VMU's (Virtual Memory Cards) are great cos you can download Mini games to play etc. Dreamcast is good But with the Other Stuff out there now. I Think don't get this, Its a classic but just now its best to be left alone.
N64 = Bargin!! The N64 is Brill but when you buy it it may look dated. It maybe cheap with great games such as Pefect dark and Conkers bad fur day. Also The controllers are the best out in the market with great control over the game. With the gamecube coming up theres now no games being made. All the games out there are Bargins. If you had a N64 since it came out then you couldn't believe the prices the games are now!
XBox = Mircosoft's trying it. It may just be a great hit. The Hard drive allowing players too Download big stuff, e.g. Levels, new chararters for games, etc... And the Games are looking brill! Halo is maybe the most talked about game, the XBox it self is huge. You'll need to find a big clear space for it! And the pads almost like the Dreamcasts, I'm proven its good. But 1 set back. The price. Because it has everything. Theres no way your getting off that easliy. The XBox will cost a huge: 400+ Pounds!! If you can Afford this, Really keep this in mind. (March 14th)
PS2 = PS2 (Playstation 2) DVD player, Cd player, USB port, Good games. You could think its perfect. It nearly is. but a few set backs. The Control pad is O.K. But its not the best, 20 games are released every month and only 2-4 of them are good. But apart from the other pointless set backs, the PS2 us great. But its was released 1 year ago so it'll won't be as up-to-date as the XBox and Gamecube. But as its already a year in, They've Started to improve. Learning from mistakes. The DVD player plays fine and with likly price drop in easter everythings going quite well for sony. The Price at the monent is £200 with nothing else. But a good choice,
