Going back to Square they produced some great Snes games for Nintendo and then moved to Sony. They seem to follow the best company at the time so keep an eye on which console they will support as they seem to know which will be the most successful (in terms of sales).
As consumers we like to have choice, it is one of the perks of living in a democracy that we can and are able to choose from many different suppliers.
