After Forest accepted the offer from Leeds of 4.1 Million, Jenas was set to go, but te Under 19's England Captain turned it down after Leeds couldn't gurantee a first team place for the youngster which he wanted with a bigger club that Nottingham Forest.
Now Jenas has moved to Newcastle for around 5 Million after Newcastle said he would be in a First team/Squad Rotation player.
Now my view on this is that i don't think he would Jenas would replace Solano on the right wing which is where Jenas plays.
Newcastles current midfield has been:
Left Winger: Robert
Right Winger: Solano
Cental Midfield: Dyer
Central Midfield: Bassedas
Now looking at Newcastles Midfield, it is great as it is and Jenas in my opinion would have a tough time getting into the Newcastle side.
What is your view on this?

Yeah Speed does play more than Bassedas, but i think Bassedas is useful to Newcastle, after all he sometimes plays for Argentina!

Bassedas is not a regular, he was on loan in spain, before dyer was injured last week. Bobby Robson has just recalled him for Spain to cover for Dyer.
Jenas will play instead of Dyer and will act as cover for Speed and Solano and Robert.

and with him being only 18 England he could replace Beckham when he retires (which i hope isn't for a long time yet)
I didn't know Bassedas actually played regularly for Newcastle!! I thought it was Speed?? I think Jenas should be a great prospect for the future but he will of course have to fight his way in. I thought £5m was a bit much for an U-21 international, but Forest do need the money! I haven't seen him play much, but what I have seen is good, especially for England. I think that Scholes will have to watch-out in a few years time!!
Maybe Solano could move into the centre then and Jenas on the right.
Dyer is injured though, and could be out for 6 weeks apparently.
