Go to your local SR and try the x-box and then we'll see if your singing its praises. Its only a shame how they dont have a gamecube there to show you how much better graphically it is.

To be honest, the demo pods aren't endearing many consumers. I'm picking one up at launch and after a fairly lengthy period on a pod, I wasn't wavered from my impending purchase one bit. Not because the pod impressed me, because it didn't, far from it, but for the sheer quality that will see it at launch, which includes Halo and Jet Set Radio Future, which were conspicuous by there absence on the demo pods.

The Xbox has got a very impressive line up of games, whether at launch or in the future. I would recommend you get an Xbox; they ARE good, you probably just didn't have a long enough go. Remember, playing games in shops is nothing like playing them at home; can you remember playing Ridge Racer 5 at EB pre-PS2 launch (snigger). Trust me, Xbox is much better than your initial opinions (I've had 1st hand experience so I can judge)

I really do suggest that all of you thinking of getting a X-box try before you buy.

I was gonna get one at launch, but then I played on one down my local Toys 'r' us. A real let-down.

Now i shall be getting more Gamecube/PS2 games instead.

OK, stop the row, these are the facts:

Xbox is the most technologically advanced, and can produce the best graphics.
The PS2 is the weakest (shock horror to prejudiced morons) of the bunch, and has the lowest limits in terms of speed, and polygons (when used with lighting effects etc.
The GameCube has the balance between great games and great technology; it'll be fun, as will the Xbox. But not the PS2 though.
