There are three men in a boat, they all have a cigarrette, but no matches and no lighters. How did they manage to smoke?

Its a tricky one, but if you've seen Batman (with Burt Ward and Adam West), you should know the answer. I dare say its funny, but its pretty clever. Good luck good people!

But the cigarette would gain more weight, as it obsorbs the water. It would just be less dense than the water, so it will float.

It's called a pun. He threw one cigarrette overboard and made it a cigarrette lighter, as in lightening the weight of the boat and as an inatimate object in a device that lights cigarrettes.
