I have set up several sites on freeola one of which is a photo gallery for a friend.
The problem I am having is uploading picture files via PHP, it returns an error stating file size is too large.....on another site when i look at the system files on my site it states "Max file upload is only 2M"..
any advice..
thanks in advance,
Ian.
Nothing official I'm afraid, but we are making some changes in regards to file upload limits for VIP within the next month or so.
If you need larger upload limits (before this) please send in a support ticket and we will consider the change on a case by case basis.
I think my camera give me pictures of around 5mb, I use timthumb to make them all the size I wish per page and resize them before uploading...
But all the sites I have created for friends etc; they do not get that bit of resizing and FTP is no more easy to explain than http!!!
Looking at Freeola's phpinfo both Standard and VIP state:
upload_max_filesize 2M
It's probably been like that for quite a while - perhaps with today's cameras taking very large images it's time for an increase?
