I read somewhere that GBA is 32-bit. PSone is 32-bit. Then how come the graphics on GBA are no where near as 'advanced' as it's 32-bit brother the Playstation. I will leave you all in peace to talk about plumbers and cute yellow things, and will pop back soon to see the replies.

Because the PSone was designed for 3d, and the Gameboy wasn't. It's just the amount of bits it can send along to the processor, it doesn't really make it more powerful, it can just do more stuff.

Well, i've always thought the GBA's graphics were better than the PSX's!! I don't think it has anything to do with the carts/CD's, but the GBA is smaller. One main difference is the style of games, that effects how they'll look.

Sony went for the more serious-looking games, while Nintendo have always stayed in the Mushroom Kingdom and Hyrule. Focusing more on gameplay rather than appearnece.

also , you play psx games on a big or small tv with higher resolution , so nowhere near as small or low res as the gba.
but tony hawks looks way better on the gba.

plus the whole of the ps is dedicated to running the game while the poor gba has to handle the controls too

Okay. I love Breath Of Fire, and the Mario game is good, but Breath Of Fire lV Is much better on the PSone due to the fact that it is much, much longer.
