We all love television.
We all love gaming.
Yet the two pastimes only merge when a console is plugged in. What am I on about? TV shows about games. Terrible...
The Culprit: Game Network
This is, despite its utter crapness, probably the most watched game channel, probably due to it being the only Sky game channel (or at least to my knowledge)
And it SUCKS. It is the worst thing I've ever heard. Whilst not advertising Legend of Mir (wow, a whole two pixels on screen at once!), and with no competitions repeated every few minutes, this show's contents are still utter b******s. Yay! Some black and white footage of 18 wheeler! Woohoo! Oooh, lets ogle the American-Italian TV presenter with only a 40% knowledge of the English language! Terrible...
Game shows really need to get better. Bits was OK, but was on at an unconvenient time to say the least. SMTV live sometimes has footage of a game, but thats only when demonstrating a 'top of the range' console competition (ie. GameBoy and PlayStation)
The Game Network is pants. The only informative and not obscene piece of information I have gotten off it happens to footage of GameCube games. OK, so it may be a collage of half a second long clips, and it may be black and white, but it was something new.
And don't get me started on Mir...

Honestly, it was a colour TV! The clips before and after were in colour, but the clip I saw was in Black and White. Honest! I was forced to switch over to Judge Judy afterwards, I was so traumatised!!!!
