Hey guys can you recommend a package software that is free so i can sell things online ie add picture, description and then record those details of sales etc.

The answer will depend on whether you have an online Merchant account or intend to get one.
Here are a list of packages Worldpay document. Most packages aren't free but some are.
Oscommerce is in the list and is a free Open Source solution.
If you are just testing the water then you'll probably be best off with PayPal.
They have Buy Now buttons or a free basic shopping cart.
They also look after the payment processing etc. so you won't need a Merchant account and all the problems that can bring!
I would be interested in other people's experiences - but I haven't found a package/solution that I'm completely happy with.
One of these days I'm intending on trying a WordPress site along with a 'shopping cart' addon so that clients can look after things themselves. I've found ecommerce to be VERY time consuming to get right and maintain so try to avoid it these days...
Anyone got any success stories to share?
