I have discovered a worm-hole, or at least a tear in the fabric of space and time.
I shall try to explain in layman terms, without sounding like Prof Stephen Hawking.

I wake up at 7am. And I do not leave for work until 8:15am.
This is a time period of 75 minutes.
This shoots by in a blur. I wake, get dressed and have a cup of tea.
No more, no less. Yet those 3 actions take 75mins, without me realising that period of time has elapsed.
I am constantly surprised by this.

Then I arrive at work.
And that same 75mins stretches in double the awareness of the morning. Instead of wondering where the 75 mins went, I am left wondering how 75 can be stretched into what is quite obviously 295 minutes.
And then 1pm arrives, lunch hour. And the next 60 minutes accelerate to an incredible speed and once more whoosh by in a blur.
And then time stands still.
My clock says it is 15:54, yet I know it is, in fact, almost 20:45.

Further evidence of this rip in time:
I arrive home at 5:30pm and generally retire at about 2am.
This is a period of 7 and a half hours.
Yet that same period would take me from 8:45am (starting time at work), to 15:15.
However, in that space of time at home in the evening, I arrive at home and have a cup of tea.
I then have a shower or bath.
And I find it is 21:00. How can this be? I barely got in through the door, there is no way that I have passed 3 ½ hours, because that would make it 12:00pm in work hours, and it has not felt like that amount of time.

Weekend.
From Friday at 5pm until Monday at 8:45am, time once more enters a state of flux and you only actually get 2 and ¼ hours to yourself. In which you can do very little, and before you know it you are back at work on Monday with no recollection of time for yourself.
Yet this two day period drags by interminably whilst the Mon-Fri/ 9-5 rule is in operation.

This is not fair and I conclude I have discovered a rend in the very fabric of existence.
…jesus I’m bored.

Heh, I get the same feeling with school.

Surely German lessons shouldn't last 3 hours longer than PE!!!

Easy enough for you to say Grix, you can leave such tasks to Grix's brain and happily go about your daily business. If us mere mortals attempted something like that many actions would become impossible, such as reading or doing a spinning bird kick or even breathing... Yes, it would all end in tears ;D

You want to slow down time? Easy.

Do something repetitive. Say a word, like elephant, over and over in your mind. Sing a song in your head. Count atoms.

Or watch the clock.

This, is fairly obvious. When waiting for school, I wake up at 8:00. 40 minutes later I must get on the bus, but during this time I sit in front of the computer reading books. You get to school. The lessons begin to start, the time is no 9:30. Damn, that went fast - you think to yourself.

First lesson, "Holy Christ" you suddenly realise you've got 50 minutes of English ahead of you (40 if the teacher is normally late and also as we always pack up 5 minutes early). But, that's nearly half the time between waking and getting to the first lesson.

I blame the man who invented time.

I have the same sort of situation with College.

My Maths Lessons are the worst.

Two 1 Hour 30 minute Lessons with one brake inbetween. They are absolutly killer. At as if my clock is going backwards sometimes in there...

Good point or whatever

I came to the conclusion a few years ago that sitting at work/school waiting for time to pass takes forever... instead you do some work or draw or something... this then makes ten minutes go by for what seems like only a minute when your not doing anything.

So err maybe you could do some work at your work ;)

Nah didn't think so

That's exactly what I'm talking about.
Your 40 mins and my 40 mins are entirely seperate strands of time.

Odd.

Because you are at home, you will experience the acclerated time condition and the next 50 mins will zip by.

I, on the other hand, will actually be able to see myself age in the eternal 50 mins that are to follow.
