Hi,
On right-clicking for the Windows 7 context menu, it takes an absolute age for it to appear.
I have run sfc /scannow and chkdsk's and everything is fine to that extent.
I have also run anti-malware and anti-virus scans, and I'm clean.
Any corrective suggestions?

TBH a google search brings up no end of solutions, one of which is the obvious .... 3rd party additions :¬)

I'm guessing some installed s/w has added additional context menu items that are causing problems.
i.e. Look for non-Microsoft options in the menu.
A Google search for 'bad context menu handler' gives lots of tips.
