The discussion over the past 24 hours has reminded me of something I used to do through gaming magazines, namely swapping games with other people through magazines/the internet.

Given the state of the gaming industry right now & the poor trade-in values, I was wondering whether it's viable to set up some kind of game swapping system through this website, officially. Not only could it be a new attraction to this site bringing in new users but also profitable for Freeola.

Just checked out what CEX are offering on Soul Calibur V, notice the difference between their buy/trade in and for sale price on this item.

CeX stores sell: £38.00
CeX stores buy for cash: £22.00
CeX Stores give exchange value: £28.00

Reckon this game be £17.99 on Play or Amazon within the next 6 weeks or so, I'll wait.

If I remember correctly it was never anything more than users trading between themselves, and that was the problem. If done properly it really shouldn't be that difficult. It's late so I'm not going into it right now.

Yeh something like this was made a year or two back, didn't take off much though. I think it's a great idea, however it would be difficult to trade with new unestablished users.

We did used to have something like that on here ages ago. I swapped an Xbox HDD with Emmie for something or other. Can't remember what the hell the thread was called though.
