I was just browsing through my fantasy fooball BBC team when i thought to myself "....hmmm.....wouldn't it be cool if SR did a fantasy football league? Then all our fellow SR members like Kid Rock and Ortega could go head to head to see who really had the best knowledge. The best manager each month could possibly win a GAD prize and at the end of the season the overall winner, with the most points over all the months, could win a bigger prize or something.
I feel this would benefit both SR by bringing more visitors to the site and also the other users by making the SR 'experience' even more fun as well as being able to show off their managerial skills. Also i think it attract more people to this forum ('Life, Love, Sport and Football') as more football fans would visit the site.
So tell me what you think, whether you have any better ideas, if you think it will work and also if it would interest you. You never know we could be seeing a brand new feature on SR before the new season.

This would be great! although i haven't took part in one before i would like to be in one on SR.
i play sunday league 2 but i can't work out how it decides which bidder gets a player on the transfer market.
Yeah i play fantasy football online and sunday league on freeserve and it would definitely bring in more 'punters'.

Atleast if they did what you suggested you would win somethink decent instead of pikey credits like on some sites!

GREAT IDEA!!! Post this in the 'SR Bugs and Customer Service' forum, to get an answer from SR!
I'd love to take part in that, and I won the fantasy football league in my tutor group in both years 7 and 8! But our tutor (being so lazy) decided to give up at the start of year 9, so it finnished. I even beat 2 people who cheated in year 8!! They came second.
