"DAMN YOU SONY!"

For anyone who loves Rez, you'll be pleased to hear about a new game very similar to this that was made by Sony America. Called "Frequency", the game sees you combat waves of opponents with the games music and scenery changing depending on how you play- a perfect games for fans of Rez. Add to that, the graphical style is a mix between Rez and Jet Set Radio, and you begin to see what I mean... it even got 8/10 from Edge.

So, why am I annoyed. Well, apparantly, Sony Europe don't like Sony America, and for that reason they refuse to acknoledge the existance of the game- let alone put it on a release list.

Which is just plain stupid as I see it. It reminds me of the feud between Sony's DVD department and the Console department- company politics at its worst. It loses them profit, gamers games, and the company's respect.

It wouldn't surprise me if that was the case. I guess we'll have to sit tight for further info.

Ah, but how does the mag get its development list?

Most likely it gets the confirmed dates from the publishers, and the TBC dates from looking at the game that are out in America and Japan. Which is where the problem is...

No date, it's in their TBC section. I hope that means the date, and not the release!

Nintendo are like that - fortunatly, they are sorting themselves out (YAY!)

i hope they do sort it out quickly. i don't want games not given a PAL release because of some internal squabble. unless of course it's an army men game

Thats stupid there all the same company and console why can't they get along if they can't get along together then they won't be as good competition, they need to sort it out.
