I think that there may not be a REAL future to gaming, you know where the whole room is a screen and the graphics are so realistic you wont be able to play the new version of james bond if you have a heart condidition. I reacon that we wont get much further than 'playstation 3' thats right '3' i didnt make a typo but the equivelent to that type of graphics. I would like to hear everyones opinions so please reply.

Whats the Playstation 2? They are only just releasing the Playstation 1.5.

With Televisions they've invented digital sets (didn't sell and limiting technology) LCD sets (clear but only at certain angles and expensive)
Perhaps it's the customers who don't want to see too many changes? Changes mean new and expensive equipment which few people can afford, although everyone wants one. It's supply and demand for a lot of companies, if they don't think people are willing to pay the price of new technology then they won't pay loads for research and development. Occasionally someone comes up with a bright idea, such as the Playstation, and you know from the start it will sell, but it doesn't happen very often.

Look at television sets. We went from black and white sets to colour quite rapidly, then they got rid of the curved screen look, now they just seem to get bigger. There aren't many more improvement being made in a hurry.
