playstation 2 are good for the style and gameplay but there are getting less and less ideals for game while they are getting better controllers and etc are get the best they can while gamecube have only made the release date for it so nintendo are a bit slow but there are some top class games on the console when it firsts comes out so that is a good thing plus the price for its release date is spectacular £150 -£200 thats is how much the playstaion 2 cost after it comes out now and months after it came out it was selling for over £1000 and thats alot of money for a gameconsole isnt it. the x-box made by microsoft looks good but is it as good as everyone thinks it is i dont agree it doesnt look the best gameconsole yet the controllers dont look that good the console it self doesnt look the best it could of been the best thing about it is the kind of games it has like shrek and wwf raw is war.
there are two different types of gamecube one with a panasonic dvd player on it what is silver and the basic one what is several plus more colours like gold black silver purple orange and more better than the playstation 2 they have only just decided to make different colour playstation 2s they are cream blue red and some other colours not many more just one or two i think and x-box only has one colour its normal colour.
i think they are all good but its up to you the readers to decide if you think any of these consoles are good tell me which one you think is the best and of course why so iknow so have a great day week month and year. have fun from nunberg.
p:s hope you reply soon bye.
Over the years, the console industry has expanded rapidly, and whenever one console is released, another is in development. Every company tries to beat the other because they want gamers like us to buy whatever they sell. So to do this, companies like Sony and Microsoft have thrown in a Hard Disk Drive, DVD playback and the use of the Internet via Broadband connection. There are even standard modems being developed by third-party developers.
So you see...it keeps on growing. There is too much competition in the games industry, and to debate on which console is best so far is highly impossible. We have not really seen the XBOX in action - only demo games in local stores, but nothing spectacular. Deciding on that console is totally out of the question for now.
As for the Gamecube...hardly anyone has played it yet in this country, except for magazine publishers, (maybe). The graphics on the GC really look alive though, as well as for the XBOX.
And the PS2 - Yes...so far, this is the favourite of the bunch, because it holds exclusives like MGS2, Tekken 4 and GT3; games that other consoles can only dream of playing. And what's more important is that these particular games are the one's to sell the console more than any.
Remember that it's the games that sells the console - not the console that sells the games.
You have to ask yourself the question before you ask others.
The best console is the one that fits your neads and you gaming preferences.
But if i had to choose itd would be the CUBE of course.
The ying of performance the yang of desire.
Excellent little console what the 64 should or could have been and in my mind graphically, so far, out performs the x-box

Congratulations Strafex. You have become a general in the Army of the Free Gamer for your services to games.
Monkey Ball and Rogue Leader.
That's both multiplayer and eye candy.
The PS2 is nicely established with all the top devellopers wanting to make money on it.
It's even got exclusive rights to the likes of Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid 2.
The Xbox is a big box with every possible component that Microsoft could think of inside it.
You can expect top online support from this black box as well as some of the nicest looking titles around.
It's also fairly good in the four player arena too.
There's no better one. They're all just different.
