We are in the 21st Century, with years of gaming/console experience behind us! With the invention of the PS2, making all previous PSOne accessories compatable with it, surely, there should be a universal gaming facility which enables all games, of any kind, to be played on any console?
At the moment, it all comes down to marketing and which company gets the most money, but considering the fact that most homes now contain some form of gaming system, (even if it is a PC...no offence), that there could. and may possible be a universal gaming facility, within the game CD, so anyone can play any game?
What are your thoughts, as I'm sure that I'm not the only one who would find this gaming to be more straight forward then saying - "sucks to be you who don't have a PS2 to play 'The Getaway'"...
