oh thats soooo annoying on Moto GP.. you're be in the run for 1st place with someone and you can predict what they're going to do on the next hairpin. you set yourself up on the inside so you can touch the inside of the back wheel of theeir bike . then they jump.
Ugh.
Ugh.
Plus, as Xbox Live games like Mech Assaul only run as fast as the slowest persons connection, anyone using a 56k will inflict it on all those they play. I've seen odd laggy games of Mechassault with flying Mechs disappearing and reappearing all over the place - it isn't fun, and people usually quickly leave laggy games.

Is there any real advantage?? Are you crazy??
The Xbox Live network is really dependant on peer to peer connection (especially for the telephone quality international voice service). There is no hope this could run on a 56K modem, the pings would be far too high, and remember your connection needs to be able to download everything the game needs in every single frame.
So if the game is running at 60FPS as many Xbox games do without slowdown, then your connection must be updating all online objects in that gameworld in real time.
56K just wont do that for a good games service.
